Privacy Policy
How Como Private collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.
Placeholder — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page is a starting template so the site can launch with something in place. It should be reviewed against Italian and UK/GDPR requirements (and any US state laws relevant to members) before the site is treated as fully compliant, particularly given the site collects enquiries, newsletter sign-ups and membership applications.
What we collect
When you write to us, sign up for the Letter, or apply for membership, we collect what you choose to share: your name, email address, and the content of your message or application (which may include your location, profession, and your connection to Lake Como).
How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, to send the Letter to people who asked for it, and to review membership applications. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where needed to answer a specific request you have made (for example, introducing you to a service provider you asked about).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to office@comoprivate.com and we will act on it directly.
Cookies
This site does not currently set non-essential cookies. If analytics or similar tools are added later, this page will be updated and a consent mechanism will be added where required.
