How to eat well in Torno

Winter is a different village. The choice narrows to very little, and owners who are here out of season either cook or drive. Anyone whose enjoyment of a place depends on being able to eat out on a Tuesday in January should factor that in honestly.

Can you live in Torno year-round?

Yes, and some people do, but it asks more of you than a village with a shore road and a supermarket.

Como is close, which solves shopping, schools and medical care. The daily friction is the steps and the winter narrowing of what is open in the village. Households who make it work usually have a car above and a boat below, and treat both as necessary rather than optional.
